Step by step instructions for generating sample events with ACTS' FATRAS module and reconstructing the result using different algorithms.
References:
The following command generates 1000 single muon events using the MCC geometry with material mapping and 3.57 T magnetic field. See --help
for options on specifying what collision events to generate.
${MYBUILD}/exts/acts/bin/ActsExampleFatrasTGeo --response-file ${MYBUILD}/response/tgeo-mat-lctracker.response --bf-values 0 0 3.57 --output-dir OUT_mu --output-csv 1 -n 1000
Run truth tracking on the single muon events generated above.
${MYBUILD}/exts/acts/bin/ActsExampleTruthTracksTGeo --response-file ${MYBUILD}/response/tgeo-mat-lctracker.response --bf-values 0 0 3.57 --input-dir OUT_mu --input-csv 1 -n 1000
This generates a file called performance_track_fitter.root
with some basic tracking performance plots. Some examples are given below.
